Actress Kathleen Turner sat down and spoke with us in an interview for the much anticipated “Dumb and Dumber To.”

20 years after the original movie was released, Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels are back as Lloyd and Harry.

But a few surprises in the film include a supporting role by Oscar nominee, Kathleen Turner of “Peggy Sue Got Married”, “Romancing The Stone” and “War of The Roses” fame.

An unlikely movie choice for a mostly dramatic actress, but Turner says she “needed it.”

“It was a lot of goofing around, because it’s Jim and Jeff…and the Farrelly Brothers – good Lord they’re major goofers on their own,” Turner said, “But also, to me, it gave me a chance to do something I wanted to do for a long time – which is to say to people – No, I don’t look like I did 30 years ago. Get over it.”

Go, Kathleen!

“Dumb and Dumber To” opens in theaters on Friday.
