Arthur Lampitt of Granite City, Ill., recently had surgery to remove a 7-inch turn signal from his left arm.

Arthur had crashed his car into a truck more than 50 years ago.

He fractured his hip in the crash, so that may have drawn the attention away from his arm.

It never bothered him until a few weeks ago, when his arm kept getting bigger and bigger.

So doctors went in there, and finally removed the turn signal.

Arthur is doing just fine and talked to WGN Morning News Monday.
