Bart Smith was a linebacker in the NFL for 11 seasons with both the Baltimore Ravens and New York Jets.

He’s now one of the studio hosts for CBS’ The NFL Today and is also working with Morgan Stanley, a global financial services firm, to help athletes better manage their money.

Scott joined WGN Morning News Wednesday to preview the NFL Draft in Chicago and how he used a snub from the Bears as motivation.

He also told WGN the story behind his famous “Can’t wait!” post-game interview.

Scott says he was in a “whole other world” at the time of the interview.

“At that time before that, I was over there cursing out the mascot of the Patriots. I’m just happy I didn’t curse on television, because I was feeling it. That was passionate right there,” Smith told WGN.
