CHICAGO — Tom Wilson, aka Biff from “Back to the Future,” drove the DeLorean to Wrigleyville Friday morning to deliver the news in person: The Chicago Cubs are going to win the 2015 World Series.
Fans of the film will remember that in “Back to the Future II,” Marty McFly travels to the future — Oct. 21, 2015 to be exact — and discovers that the Cubs have won the world series by sweeping Miami.
If the Cubs make it to the World Series this year, they won’t be playing Miami. But who knows, maybe part of the prophecy will come true!
