CHICAGO  — In 1993, Chicago’s Very Own, Darryl Jones, was chosen as bassist for the Rolling Stones. Today, he spoke with Dean Richards about how exciting and significant it was to be at the historic Chess Records, where the Rolling Stones recorded songs.
Jones said his mother took him to see James Brown at Soldier Field when he was younger. Now, he and the rest of the Rolling Stones getting to perform there for their ‘No Filter’ tour. The Rolling Stones will be playing at Soldier Field at 7:30 p.m. on Friday and Tuesday.
