CHICAGO — One of the treats that many people enjoy during the summer is a combination of favorite treats in a cool package.

That’s the ice cream sandwich – and there are a number of varieties for people to choose from at their local store or shop.

These treats were part of the discussion on the “9@9” on Wednesday’s WGN Morning News as the hosts discussed a few unique choices for ice cream sandwich fans.

At the same time, we talked about a lighthouse giveaway, old “Scratch and Sniff” books from the 1980s, the best-selling Ken doll of all time, a “Hyp Nap,” a unique ping pong shot, and more.
