CHICAGO – Most people have been using them for years as a way to help their clothes feel fresh at the end of a wash.

But some laundry scientists are cautioning people to avoid this step as they complete the drying process.

Not using dryer sheets, which is recommended by some, was one of the topics that were discussed on Monday’s “6@6” on WGN Mornings News as the hosts gave their thoughts on this change.
