Join us at the 5th Annual Fire Up A Cure Chicago! Along with firefighter competition, Fire Up A Cure has activities and fun for the whole family! Activities include face painting, arts & crafts, food vendors, inflatables, a magician, Irish dancers, clowns, music, cornhole, raffles, split the pot and more!

Tickets can be purchased at the door; $10/adult, $5/children, $20/family. Children under 3 are free.

Every year teams of firefighters from across Illinois and Boston compete head-to-head in a series of challenges all in the name of pediatric cancer and local children and families affected by this horrible illness. Firefighters sign up in teams of six and each team is assigned a pediatric cancer patient as their honorary coach. Challenges include tug-of-war, inflatable jousting, fire truck pull, obstacle course, wing eating contests and more.

Fire up a cure is a means to generate funds specifically to allow children to participate in fire cadet schools and cadet programs; providing another opportunity for children fighting cancer and survivors to participate in physical and social activities.
