Debi Lilly’s Tailgate Playbook Recipes:

Bloody Mary Bites:
Marinate cherry tomatoes in mixture of vodka, splash of hot sauce, splash of Worcestershire to cover tomatoes.
Serve with toothpicks and a mixture of celery salt/lemon pepper mixed together in a bowl to dip into.

Cubano Bites:
Chop Swiss Cheese into cubes.
Chop mini pickles into similar size “piece”.
Slice ham into strips, roll into similar size “piece”.
Skewer all onto toothpick, with cheese “last” for “bottom” of bite, to stand upright.

Loaded Tot Kabobs:
Skewer 3-4 frozen tater tots onto wooden skewers.
Top with shredded cheese, chopped bacon.
Bake in oven 15 mins, 350, until brown and cheese bubbly.
Garnish with fresh ground black pepper.

Mini Corndogs:
Prepare grocery store cornbread mix in mini muffin tin.
Insert all natural hot dog “bite” into center.
Bake according to package directions, until brown.
Serve with ketchup, mustard for dipping.

Spicy Ham Sammies:
Unroll bread dough onto floured surface.
Slice into 2″ wide strips.
Spread thin layer of spicy mustard onto dough strips.
Layer with ham, salami, shredded Swiss cheese.
Roll up into spirals, lay onto greased cookie sheet.
Top with poppy seeds, black pepper.
Bake until brown and bubbly, 350 for 20 minutes.

Sloppy Joe Loaf:
Combine browned ground beef or turkey with 1 can Sloppy Joe sauce.
Slice bread loaf in half.
Spoon sloppy joe ontop.
Cover with shredded cheese, bake until bubbly in 350 oven.
Slice into bite size strips.

Oven Baked Meatball Subs:
Slice baguette in half lengthwise, hollow out a bit of center to fit meatball and cheese.
Fill with meatballs, shredded cheese, pesto.
Wrap with foil, bake in 350 oven til bubbly and brown.
Slice into bite size pieces.
