Daylight Savings Time
How to Prepare:
On Saturday, wake your child earlier so they can get to bed earlier (if they usually go to sleep at 7:00 p.m., shift it to 6:45 p.m.)
Shift mealtimes, naps and bedtime
Don’t sweat it if you don’t have time to prepare
To adjust your Child to Daylight Savings Time:
Stick with the same by the clock schedule or move your nap timing a ½ hour to help adjust to the time change.
Expose your child to light in the morning
Lower the lights and allow for a longer bedtime routine
Use blackout shades to help keep the room dark and conducive for sleep
