Stress Fighting Foods

Black Tea:
Quickly helps you feel less stressed. One study found 4 cups of black tea each day helped people recover from stress twice as fast as non-tea drinkers.

Decreases anxiety. Omega 3 fatty acids decrease brain inflammation, which may help calm nerves.

Regulate blood pressure. Contain potassium, calcium & magnesium, key electrolytes to control blood pressure.

Improves mood/happiness. Good carbs increase serotonin, which is a feel good compound in the brain.

Dark Chocolate:
Decreases cortisol, which is a major stress hormone. A little more than an ounce for 14 days is all it takes.

Boost immunity. Two clementines have over 100% of our daily vitamin C goal.

Aromatherapy (lavendar and peppermint) may also reduce stress.
