Sam Jones’ Pulled Pork Sandwich with Sweet Coleslaw
Yields: approximately 10 sandwiches


3.5 lbs cabbage
1.75 cups Sugar
1 Tbs mustard
5 oz. salad dressing

Chop cabbage to desired texture. Mix all ingredients until combined. Refrigerate.


4-6 lbs pork shoulder or butt
Eastern North Carolina style vinegar based BBQ sauce
hamburger bun or potato roll

Cook pork shoulder at 250 degrees in a smoker for 8-10 hours (to internal temp of 185). Pull apart and/or chop to desired texture. Apply Eastern North Carolina style vinegar based BBQ sauce until you've reached your desired taste (recommended Sam Jones "Sweet Heat" BBQ Sauce)

Place generous portion of pork on bun and top with coleslaw
