Read your Labels
Sugar grams – in both sweet and savory foods – are found nuder carbohydrate on labels

A Little Adds Up To A Lot
1 teaspoon of sugar = about 4 grams

Cut back on sugar “extras” like those found in ketchup, jams, sauces and other condiments

Instead of sodas and juices, add slices of lemon, limes, strawberries or cucumbers to your water to quench your thirst

Don’t confuse “fat free” with “sugar free.” Often times foods that are fat free contain more sugar.
