When Living Healthy Chicago Host Jane Monzures wanted to put her memory to the test, we decided to check out Professor David Gallo’s latest research experiment at the Memory Research Lab at University of Chicago.

David and his team have been studying a method known as trans cranial direct current stimulation, or TCDS, a method for stimulating the brain.

He admits, “The jury’s still out on this technique, but here’s enough studies out there that suggest that there might be a cognitive benefit, which has caused a lot of researchers to be really interested to push the limits of it and to see can we really enhance cognition.”
