If your looking for the freshest Middle Eastern food, join Elliott as he heads to Andersonville to Middle East Bakery and Grocery where you can shop for fresh hummus, pita, and get made to order falafels. Can’t get any fresher than that!

Then, join Marley as she stops in Albany Park to see how a small grocer turned into a pillar of the community for fresh food and savory carnitas at Lindo Michoacan Restaurant and Supermarket

Later, Elliott takes us out to a great Italian lunch in Lake Forest, were we shop for authentic Italian food directly imported from Italy. We also meet Broadcast legend Bob Wallace, and make a belly warming eggplant rollatini at R & V Italian Market and Deli.

Finally, Marley finds both a restaurant and a full market in one place at Deane’s Market & Deli in Geneva. People come here for a quick grab with high quality take out but the real meat is the custom roast beef sandwich.
