    CHICAGO — Illinois State Police say snowy weather caused two crashes on a Chicago expressway that involved a total of 34 cars.     CHICAGO – Three men were shot on Chicago’s North Side overnight and one of those men died from his injuries. It happened at about 12:30 a.m. in the 6300 block of North Broadway Avenue in the Edgewater neighborhood.   Police say two men were shot after they stepped off a party bus that had pulled over and stopped near a Dunkin Donuts.   • Woman’s body found in South Side alley identified

    CHICAGO – The woman whose body was found in a garbage can Friday has been identified by the Cook County Medical Examiner. Diamond Turner, 21, was found Friday by a city worker who was dumping garbage in an alley in the 7300 block of South Kenwood Avenue. Police are conducting a death investigation. The Medical Examiner has not determined Turner’s cause of death.

    ORLAND PARK, Ill. – An autopsy determined 60-year-old Mary Homolka died of a single gunshot wound to the head and her death is being investigated as a homicide, police said Saturday.
