    ROUND LAKE PARK, IL — A popular pizza restaurant in Round Lake Park was severely damaged in Sunday evening’s storms. The Pizza Place has been a staple in the community for 40 years.     BLOOMINGDALE, Ill. — A video of a Bloomingdale Police Officer helping a mentally disabled woman to get to her home has gone viral. The Bloomingdale Police Department said they received a call that a 21-year-old mentally disabled woman had wandered away from her home. Officers found her walking along the street.   • First heat-related deaths of the season reported in Cook County

    CHICAGO — The first two heat-related deaths of the year were reported in Cook County over the weekend when temperatures were above 85 degrees. Darlene Lipske, 70, of Brookfield, Ill., died Sunday morning at Adventist La Grange Memorial Hospital. The medical examiner found she died of heart disease and heat stress. Ellean Williams, 69, of Chicago, died Sunday morning at Northwestern Memorial Hospital. The medical examiner’s cause of death was heart disease and heat stress.     CHICAGO — Taylor Swift’s two sold out shows at Soldier Field over the weekend paid special tribute to Mount Greenwood’s Emily Beazley. Swift rocked out while wearing Beazley’s favorite colors — purple and green. The audience also lit up for Beazley.   • Fireworks malfunction injures 9 in Colorado town

      AVON, CO — Nine people suffered minor injuries after a fireworks shell exploded in its tube and caused “two to three shells to cross into the crowd.” The accident occurred Friday evening at a Colorado town’s “Salute to the USA” fireworks show. German-based airline Lufthansa has changed the air quality of the Airbus A-380.
