Crews battle fire on South Side

CHICAGO — Emergency crews responded to a fire on Chicago’s South Side Friday.

Firefighters responded to a four-story apartment building in the 1600 block of East 67th Street Friday around 3:30 p.m..

According to Chicago Fire Department officials, a woman was injured in the fire. The extent of her injuries are not yet known.

The fire was contained to one unit.
