Cold air moves in overnight and frigid wind chills early next week

The first of two cold surges arrives Wednesday night and will last through Friday.

A second, stronger cold blast earlier next week threatens to break long-standing records with high temperatures only reaching the middle 20s, a reading  25 degrees below normal. Morning wind chills are expected to dip near zero in some areas by Tuesday morning.
