Musical theater returns to Chicago high school for first time in 50 years

CHICAGO — Students at a West Side high school are doing something that hasn't been done at their school for five decades.

Westinghouse High in East Garfield Park received a grant and will be putting on the first musical there in 50 years.

Students from the entire school will put on a production of “Fame.”

WGN’s Erin Ivory has the story.
