Mild Christmas Eve weather makes travel, festive fun a little easier

CHICAGO – Mother Nature gave holiday travelers and early Christmas gift with mild weather on Monday.

From roadways to the skies, there was plenty of sun, calm winds and dry weather.

Revelers also took the opportunity for festive fun like Chicago’s Christkindle Market.

Some snow flurries are possible for Christmas Day with temps peak in the mid-upper 30s.
