4 injured in crash on South Side

CHICAGO – Four people were taken to the hospital Monday after a car accident on Chicago’s South Side.

Emergency crews responded to the 7400 block of Ashland Avenue in West Englewood around 2 p.m.

Two cars collided at the intersection and one struck a light pole and slammed into a building.

One of the injured was cut from the wreckage.

Police are investigating the crash.
