Cruise for memory-impaired sets sail in Chicago River

CHICAGO --  The new Odyssey Chicago River boat hosted a cruise Tuesday for people dealing with dementia.

It was put together by the University of Chicago Medicine Memory Center and Artis Senior Living. People with memory impairment, their family and caregivers were treated to a nice outing in the glass topped boat.

There's a huge demand from the memory-impaired community for more meaningful activities like this.
