Scattered showers across northern Illinois into NW Indiana this Tuesday afternoon/evening

Update 3:30PM CDT…

Some widely scattered showers with isolated embedded thunder will move east-southeast across northern Illinois into northwest Indiana late this afternoon into the evening hours.


Scattered showers and thunderstorms are moving southeast out of southern Wisconsin into northern Illinois this Tuesday morning associated with a weak cold front.

Locally brief heavy downpours and vivid lightning along with gusty winds out of the north will accompany some of the stronger storms.

The activity will most likely weaken later this morning, but could reach Chicago into southern Lake Michigan.
