Public Housing nationwide is now smoke-free.

The federal government requires all public housing must have a smoke-free policy as of Monday.

Critics of the policy are concerned that quitting smoking will be harder for vulnerable groups like the elderly and people with disabilities.

They worry this policy will lead to evictions from their only decent housing options.
