Chicago’s new and improved lakefront path, from Wacker to Roosevelt, has been officially reopened; the ceremonial ribbon was cut Sunday.

Runners and bike riders no longer have to share the same trails.

It’s part of the ongoing project to remake the entire 18-mile stretch from Ardmore Ave. to 71st St.

The project should be completed by Thanksgiving.
