Marriott workers to picket Wednesday

Unionized employees at Marriott hotels plan to picket Wednesday in eight major cities.

Chicago is not one of them.

The workers are demanding higher wages, more protections against sexual harassment, and greater assurance that their jobs won't be eliminated by automation.

Only off-duty employees will man the picket lines. No work stoppage is anticipated.
