Man charged with sexually attacking woman in Loop elevator

CHICAGO — A Far South Side man has been charged with sexually attacking a woman in a Loop elevator.

Robert Skipper, 29, of the 300 block of East 120th Place, is charged with unlawful restraint, criminal sexual abuse and attempted criminal sexual assault.

According to the Chicago Police Department, Skipper followed a woman into an elevator in the 200 block of South LaSalle Street and inappropriately touched her about 2 p.m. Saturday. Skipper then forced the woman to the ground and did not allow her to leave, police said.

Skipper is slated to appear in bond court Monday.
