The search for spring in Chicago continues.

Monday marked the third day in a row in which temps did not see 40 degrees.

These temps are significantly below the normal air we see at this time of year.

The Chicago area woke up to snow coverage and slick roads.  Crashes were reported in Cook, Lake, DuPage, Kane and Will Counties in Illinois, as well as in northwest Indiana.

The most accumulation was in counties generally along and north of Interstate 90, but there will be at least a dusting of snow with spotty slick spots in areas a little farther south along and north of Interstates-88/290.

Many parts of Wisconsin and Minnesota were socked with a late season snowfall.

Temps will slowly begin to climb this week with more seasonable weather expected next weekend.
