AUSTIN - University of Texas golfer Doug Ghim is an Arlington Heights kid. He went to Buffalo Grove High School and last week, played in the Masters.

Ghim not only played, but was the only amateur to make the cut. He provided a couple of highlight reel shots with his dad carrying the bag. It doesn't get much better than that.

His trip to Augusta ended with a chip-in from the bunker at the 18th on Sunday in front of a massive crowd.

Dan Roan talked to Doug via Skype this week. He said it didn't take him very long to figure out he wasn't in Austin anymore.
