CHICAGO — Another Chicago Cubs player is tying the knot!

Javier Baez announced on social media Wednesday that he proposed to his longtime girlfriend Irmarie Marquez.

The couple are expecting their first child together in July. Earlier this year, they revealed that they are having a boy.

Baez worked with online jeweler JamesAllen.com to design the engagement ring. He proposed to her at midnight on her birthday while home for a short trip after being on the road since Spring Training began.

They had been dating since they were 13 years old, and Baez says that he’s always had plans to marry her.
