CHICAGO -- Surveillance video was released of a fiery crash that killed a 67-year-old woman.

Surveillance cameras at the Buddy Bear Car Wash on the corner of 95th Street and Stony Island Avenue captured dramatic video of the crash that killed Janice Gilmore, 67, around 6 p.m. on Tuesday.

In the video, you see the white BMW speeding north on Stony Island then debris flying everywhere. A second angle of the crash shows a gray Chevy turning from 95th Street on to Stony Island when it gets hit by the BMW.  That BMW spun out of control hitting the bus shelter and killing Gilmore who was standing on the sidewalk.

Three other people were hurt in the crash.

William Nelson and Tunya Mallet witnessed the crash from their car.  They immediately jumped out to help, pulling the driver out of the BMW moments before it burst into flames.

Mallett, who’s been a certified nursing assistant for the past 20 years, said when she went to help Gilmore, the man who was with her was pleading with her to wake up.

"The only thing I could do was say a quick prayer," she said.

Nelson said he and a group of others jumped in to help the driver of the BMW and others who were standing at the bus stop.

A 5-year-old along with a 20-year-old and a 21-year-old received minor injuries. A 25-year-old woman in the Chevy was taken to the hospital in critical but stable condition.

The driver of the BMW was issued two citations, one for speeding, the other for not having any insurance.

Officials said more charges could be pending.
