Police seek 2 suspects in series of robberies

CHICAGO — Police are searching for suspects after at least two people were robbed in the Loop and South Loop last week.

The attacks happened about 7:15 p.m. March 29 in the 400 block of South LaSalle Street and 6:30 a.m. March 31 in the 400 block of West Harrison Street, according to the Chicago Police Department.

In each incident, two robbers grabbed or punched victims and pushed them to the ground before running away and fleeing on CTA trains. Both suspects were captured on surveillance footage.

Police described the suspects as black teens or young men who are roughly 5-foot-9 to 6-feet tall, weighing between 135 and 165 pounds.
