CHICAGO — Tuesday is Election Day for primaries in Illinois, and polls stayed open until 7 p.m.

There’s big money behind this year’s gubernatorial primary, and voters are also choosing their Attorney General candidates, along with a few congressional district candidates.

We’re also watching the race for Cook County Board President, and there’s controversy over a candidate for Cook County Assessor.

We’ll be posting updates here all night long, and WGN’s televised election coverage begins at 7 p.m.
