Apple’s new Michigan Avenue flagship store up for sale
CHICAGO — A Chicago investor is putting Apple’s new riverside store up for sale less than six months after buying it.
According to Crain’s Chicago Business, Walton Street Capital is seeking $170 million for the store and another retail space.
The private equity firm took over the store about two weeks before it opened on Michigan Avenue in October.
The purchase was part of a larger $360 million acquisition that included an office tower and retail building in addition to the store.
