Police search for man after accidental shooting at Hyatt in Loop

CHICAGO -- Police say an accidental shooting took place at the Hyatt Regency on Friday morning.

The shooting happened around 10 a.m. at the Hyatt Regency Chicago at 150 E. Wacker in the Loop.

A gun fell from a hotel guest's pocket as he checked out in the lobby. The weapon hit the floor, and fired.

Three people suffered minor graze wounds, possibly from fragments from the floor. The third person refused treatment.

Police are now looking for a man from the south suburbs. They say he took-off in a vehicle.

They believe there's no danger to the public.
