Police try to identify body of teenager found in South Shore

CHICAGO — Chicago police are trying to identify the body of a teenager found on the city’s South Side.

The discovery was made Monday near 80th and Cole in the South Shore neighborhood.

Investigators say the dead teen is African-American, 5’7,” 140 pounds, with light skin, wearing a Starter jacket with red sleeves and the word “Chicago” in red letters.

He also wore a gray windbreaker hoodie.
