Chicago Police officer Jason Van Dyke, who’s charged with shooting and killing Laquan McDonald, will be able to keep his attorney.

There was a hearing on Thursday to see if there was a possible conflict of interest with his defense lawyer, Dan Herbert.

Herbert represented some of the other officers involved in this case.

The judge ruled there’s no conflict of interest, and Herbert can remain Van Dyke’s attorney.
