GREEN LAKE COUNTY, Wisc. -- A man crashed his small plane in Wisconsin -- and he and his grandson walked away unhurt.

Tim Newell was on his way to take part in an air show, when his plane developed mechanical trouble Tuesday and lost power over Green Lake County,  just west of Fond Du Lac.

Luckily, there was a nice, soft cornfield beneath him.

Tim says he'll get to work fixing his plane. As for missing the air show, he says he's just glad that he and his grandson will still be around to see the next one.
