A band of showers and embedded thunderstorms moving southeast over the Chicago area

Between 10PM and 1AM CDT this Thursday evening-early Friday a band of scattered showers with a few embedded thunderstorms will move southeast over northeast Illinois into northwest Indiana. Brief downpours and gusty winds will accompany some of the stronger storms.
