Snow causes multiple crashes, slick road conditions in south suburbs

JOLIET, Ill. -- Light snow falling in Chicago's south suburbs caused slick and dangerous road conditions Wednesday morning.

Multiple accidents and spin-outs were reported on a number area roads south of Chicago.

An 8-10 car pile-up had all lanes blocked earlier on inbound I-55 at Arsenal Road. All lanes have since reopened.

A five car pile-up was reported on westbound I-80 at US-45 Lagrange Road.
