CHICAGO -- Chicago police are looking for a gunman who shot and wounded a man in the city's Wicker Park neighborhood.
Chicago police say a 26-year-old was shot outside a liquor store at Division and Damen just before 10:30 p.m. Monday.
The man is believed to be an employee at one of the businesses in the plaza located at Division and Damen.
Officers say an argument between the employee and gunman lead to the shooting just outside the liquor store. The man was shot in the leg, and the gunman ran away.
The store clerk's injuries are not considered life-threatening.
According to The Sun-Times, 302 people have been shot in Chicago so far this year.
For the entire month of January in 2016, 297 people were shot, according to the Chicago Tribune.
