Chicago’s 2017 St. Patrick’s Day Queen crowned

CHICAGO-- A new queen is announced to reign over Chicago's St. Patrick's Day Parade.

Maura Connors was crowned Sunday afternoon at Plumber's Union Hall .

Connors is a graduate of the University of Chicago and currently works as an admissions counselor at the school.

This year's parade will be held on March 11th.
