WGN Morning News remembers last interview with actor Alan Thicke

Alan Thicke, best known for his role as Dr. Jason Seaver on the TV sitcom "Growing Pains"  has died at age 69.

Thicke passed away Tuesday after suffering a heart attack while playing hockey with his teenage son at an ice rink in Burbank, California.

The Canadian-born actor had a prolific career, including cameos in recent years on the comedy "How I Met Your Mother" and the Netflix series "Fuller House." He was also a frequent pitchman for ads on Sirius.

Just a little over a year ago, on December 4, 2015, Alan Thicke joined WGN Morning News for an interview and some fun.
