Sexual assault, robbery on North Side; Police seek 4 suspects

CHICAGO – Police are searching for four suspects who robbed a man and woman and sexually assaulted the woman early this morning on the North Side.

Police say the 23-year-old woman and the 30-year-old man were in a parked car this morning around 4 a.m. in the 2700 block of West Crystal in the city’s Humboldt Park neighborhood when they were approached by four men armed with handguns.

The suspects pointed the guns at the man and woman and demanded their property.

Then police say two of the suspects “forcefully sexually assaulted” the female victim at gunpoint.

A suspect attempted to force the female victim into the suspect’s vehicle before
shoving her to the ground.

The suspects then entered their vehicle and fled the scene.

Police describe the suspects as follows:

  • Black male, 18-19 years old, 5’4, 115 lbs with a “baby face.” He was wearing a black jacket, grey sweater, dark jeans, and tightened hooded sweatshirt.
  • Black male, 15-16-years old, 5'7, 100 lbs, with a "baby face" and short shaved
    hair. He was wearing a black jacket, beige pants, and black dress shoes.
  • Black male, approximately 18-years-old.
  • Black male 18- to 21-years-old.

The suspects were using a small blue/gray four-door sedan, possibly an older model.
