KENOSHA, Wis. -- A pick-up truck wound up going off the road and through the ice on a frozen river.

That happened on the Pike River in Kenosha on Wednesday.

A deputy saw the truck go in the water, but the driver was able to get out on his own.

He was taken to the hospital as a precaution, for being in that freezing water.

The cause of the accident is under investigation.
