EVANSTON, Ill. – Northwestern is going bowling for the second year in a row.

The Wildcats will play Pitt (8-4) at Yankee Stadium on Wednesday, December 28th in the Pinstripe Bowl.

Pitt has two of the best wins in college football this season, knocking off Clemson and Penn State – number two and five respectively in the final College Football Playoff rankings.

It’s the ninth consecutive bowl trip for the Panthers, who have one of college football’s top feel-good stories this season in James Conner — the running back who beat cancer and rushed for 1,060 yards this season.

The Wildcats will be looking for their first postseason win since 2012.
