Woodland Upcycled Ornaments

Tin for base
Snow - we use the kind you buy in a bag from the craft store
Pretty paper (for the background)
Trees and animals, use vintage ones if you have them or pick up at a craft store
Hot glue - If you don’t have a hot glue gun you can use white glue but allow more time to dry
Metal hole punch
Glitter because everything looks better with glitter!

Use either the lid to a mason jar or a vintage tart tin as the base of your ornament. Poke a hole in the top to add a string or glue a string to the back for hanging on the tree or in a home. Add the pretty paper for a background or leave it plain.  Choose the scene you would like to add inside the tin.  You can use items you have on hand or pick up miniatures at your local craft store or search for vintage items at a thrift store.  Hot glue your items onto the tin, add snow, add glitter and you have the sweetest ornament.

This is a great hands-on craft for kids or girlfriends to do together at a crafting party!  Each guest can leave with a special ornament to remember the fun!
