CHICAGO — The Chicago Bears appear to be losing fan interest just like they’re losing games.

There were 11,000 no shows during the game against the Tennessee Titans at Soldier Field.

The Bears lost to the Titans 27-21.

Their record is 2-9, which is their worst start since 1997.

The Bears still have three more home games to go this season.

The next one is Sunday against the San Francisco 49ers.

That could be Quarterback Matt Barkley’s second career NFL start since Jay Cutler’s shoulder injury is expected to keep him out.

Barkley passed for 316 yards, 3 touchdowns, and 2 interceptions on Sunday.

Both of his interceptions were in the red zone.

He almost had a fourth touchdown pass, and potential game winner, when wide receiver Josh Bellamy dropped the ball after it hit him in the chest and hands.
