CHICAGO -- With temperatures headed back to the 60's, ice skating may be the last thing on your mind. But Chicago's outdoor skating rinks are now scheduled to open, the day after Thanksgiving.

Among them will be the new ice skating ribbon at Maggie Daley Park. Originally, the city hoped to open the ribbon this Friday, but it’s still too warm.

When the ribbon and rinks open, admission will be free, but skate rental will cost you.

The ribbon will remain open through the first week of march, weather permitting.
